RCPP Grant Information
Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP)
MDD has been awarded a Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) grant, and program sign-up is now open for eligible farmers and landowners. Participants may apply by completing the NRCS-CPA-1200 application and submitting it to their local USDA Service Center. Applications may also be submitted online by creating an account at Farmers.gov, or by contacting a local USDA Service Center to apply over the phone if an in-person visit is not possible.
This RCPP project, led by MDD in partnership with The Works, Inc., supports sustainable improvements to agricultural land in Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, and Lauderdale counties in Tennessee; Crittenden County, Arkansas; and DeSoto County, Mississippi. The project focuses on establishing diverse edge-of-field habitats, improving soil and water quality, reducing reliance on synthetic inputs, and increasing biodiversity to help producers strengthen long-term farm productivity while supporting regional conservation goals.
