One of the most important ways we strengthen our tri-state region is by convening regular regional meetings. These gatherings bring together community leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to share insights, address challenges, and build the trust needed for meaningful collaboration. By creating space for open dialogue and relationship-building, these meetings lay the foundation for the partnerships and cooperative efforts that make real regional progress possible.

Our Summits

Each year, MDD hosts an annual summit that brings together leaders from across our tri-state region to examine the latest demographic data and see how we compare to national trends. The event serves as a platform for mayors and regional leaders to issue calls to action, share strategies, and foster collaboration on the most pressing challenges facing our communities. By uniting diverse perspectives, the summit strengthens our collective ability to plan, adapt, and grow together. All presentations and videos of past speakers are available here.
